The ground floor
Bridge Park self catering holiday cottage was once a croft. The name means ‘The Croft in the field by the Bridge’. It was converted into a comfortable dwelling as a retirement home for an estate worker and his wife. For the last 20 years it has been used as a self catering holiday cottage.
On the Ground Floor there is a porch, with a small boot room off, leading to the large sunny kitchen which is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer ample cupboard space, all the cooking utensils you will need.
There is a dining table that seats six.The hall with front door to the garden leads to both the bathroom with a basin with shaver point, bath with shower over and toilet and to the sitting room with two sofas, chairs, occasional tables, telephone and open log fire.
There is full central heating, each radiator controlled by a thermostatic valve, gives warmth throughout and unlimited hot water for relaxing after a strenuous day on the hills. Entertainment Should the weather prove inclement the sitting room is equipped with a satellite TV, DVD, and radio/CD player together with chess, cards, drafts, backgammon, various other games not to mention a copious selection of books and DVDs to while away the hours ’till it brightens up outside.
There is unlimited wi-fi internet access for downloads as well as Satellite TV and all radio stations.
